100% Vegan matte lipsticks are finally here (and they are amazing)!

Can you imagine the lipstick you use having the remains of insects? It's appalling to even think about it right!?

Sadly this is true because most makeup brands use a red dye, Carmine obtained from crushed Cochineal beetles. Apart from this, beeswax, lanolin, keratin and many more commonly used ingredients in cosmetic products are animal derived!

Besides that, most brands also test their products on animals, regardless of whether they are plant-based or not, and so ought to be avoided.

Thankfully an indie brand, DISGUISE COSMETICS, has launched their curated range of lipsticks which are PETA approved “100% VEGAN & CRUELTY-FREE”.

The range contains super-comfortable matte lipsticks in 10 exciting shades.

All shades are waterproof and typically last all day (7-8 hrs).

What makes them so good for you?

All the lipsticks are enriched with Avocado, Marula oil and Vitamin E (natural anti-oxidant) that will soothe and heal your lips.

To prevent drying, they add almond, argan and jojoba oils, which also nourish the lips. The icing on the cake is Shea butter which provides the smoothest glide and a perfect finish. The entire range is free of all toxins and lead, and parabens.
