BREAKING: Baskin Robbins India Launches Vegan Range As Flavour Of The Month

The global demand for vegan ice cream has led to big brands like Ben & Jerry’s adding plant-based options to their menu. And now Baskin Robbins India, one of the world’s largest ice cream chains, is introducing two vegan ice-creams as the flavour of the month. 

Lactose intolerant or vegan? Baskin Robbins' two bestsellers - Alphonso Mango and Mississippi Mud are now dairy-free!

As reported to Vegan First,  the Baskin Robbins team says, "Over the past few months we have received countless DMs asking for a dairy-free or a vegan range of our best-sellers. And that's why the entire team at Baskin Robbins has worked tirelessly to reinvent a dairy-free yet indulgent range of vegan ice creams." 

We speak to the CEO of Baskin Robbins India, Mohit Khattar, "Our introduction of new vegan flavours is an ode to the growing proportion of consumers that are opting to go dairy free either due to their health or lifestyle reasons. Baskin Robbins' dairy free Alphonso Mango and dairy free Missisippi mud flavours replicate the pure indulgence and deliciousness of their original full dairy versions. One is fruity and the other a chocolate lover's delight! The product experience offered by these vegan flavours is at par with the best in the world and the high standards that our consumers have come to expect from Baskin Robbins."

With plant-based diets growing in popularity in India, vegan-friendly products are entering the mainstream, and now Baskin Robbins India has joined the club. These flavours have been a hit in several Indian households. Made with the highest quality ingredients and the creamiest coconut milk, the Fresh Alponso Mango flavour is highlighted by juicy alphonso pieces in every bite.  The Dairy-Free Mississipi Mud is a delectable chocolate fudge and ice cream married with a fudge ribbon and sprinkled with brownie pieces. They've tripled up on chocolate with this Mississippi Mud Flavour. Mmm...this is chocolate ice cream at its very best! 

The vegan ice creams will be launched in all stores pan-India on 9^th December 2020.  Starting at INR 99, you can have it in a scoop or with a cone if you're at a parlour. You can double scoop both the flavours to get the best experience.

Available at the Baskin Robbins parlour near you, in scoops and large tubs of 500ml, 700ml, and 1000ml. You can also order it via Zomato & Swiggy in select areas. It's an all-month flavour so you can also avail a discount of up to 40%* off (T&C applied) if you order from Zomato & Swiggy.
