Bryan Adams Asks To Shut Down Wet Markets And Go Vegan
A furious Bryan Adams took to instagram to vent about why he wouldn't be able to perform at London's Royal Albert Hall due to the coronavirus pandemic. Adams said that the whole world is on hold now and thousands have suffered or died from the virus because we continue eating bats and selling animals in wet markets. He urged everyone to "go vegan". In his words, "No excuse, I just wanted to have a rant about the horrible animal cruelty in these wet-markets being the possible source of the virus, and promote veganism. "

90% of the zoonotic diseases have birthed out of mistreating animals either in labs or factory farms. This is a harsh truth humanity needs to face today.
Adams is not the only musician to raise this concern. Sir Paul McCartney from The Beatles had earlier said, “Let’s face it, it is a little bit medieval eating bats … They will not close down these wet markets, that got us into this trouble in the first place … It wouldn’t be so bad if this is the only thing it seems like you can blame on those wet markets. It seems like Sars, avian flu, all sorts of other stuff that has afflicted us … and what’s it for? For these quite medieval practices. They need to clean up their act.”
