‘Love, Kindness and Compassion’ is the foundation of E’woke- India’s first complete Vegan Store & Cafe. Started by a group of friends contemplating on the accessibility of vegan food and supplies, E’woke came to shape in July 2021. Spread across an area of 4500sft, making it the largest, first of its kind vegan store and cafe in the country.

Their carefully curated products in the store range from daily & gourmet F&B to Health & Lifestyle, with plant-based meats, plant-based dairy alternatives, vegan condiments, gluten-free and plant-based pastas, noodles, flours, and health supplements like B12, omega3 etc., is aiming to change people’s perspective and sensitize them about the readily available, equally delectable healthier options.

Some of the best-selling items in their cafe include Vegan Haleem, Ramen Bowl, Paneer Makhani Bowl, Beyond Meat burger, Asian bowl, Coastal Meal and a wide-range of Pizzas both thin and pan crust. Last, but certainly not the least, is their insanely tasty dessert section, the most debatable and doubted one when it says vegan. Right from the Zucchini Brownie, they have Vegan Rasmalai, Gulab Jamun, Cheesecakes (yes, that’s right), along with an exhaustive list of hot and cold beverages that are more than enough to convince you against the existing vegan stereotypes!

The eco-conscious hotspot for the widest range of vegan goods took home three Times Food & Nightlife Awards this year: Restaurant of the Year, Best Vegan Casual Dining and Restaurateur of the Year, 2022.

Vehemently advised against taking the step to open a conceptual store and cafe, the founders’ determination remained undeterred. Being vegans themselves, they understood the gaps and the dire need to bridge them. 

According to one of the founders, “Perceptual change is always the hardest to achieve but we are unflinched in our resolve because of the guests who were motivated to adopt veganism and considered lifestyle changes just by visiting us. Passion cannot exist without commitment and we are committed to bringing about this change, one meal at a time.”
