Cruelty-Free Brand Milk Makeup Launches Oat Milk Moisturizer

Oat milk is really having a day in the sun. After becoming a coffee shop staple in the West, the dairy-free milk has now caught the attention of the beauty industry.

NYC based cruelty-free beauty brand Milk Makeup launched the Vegan Milk Moisturizer today, the brand’s first cream-based moisturizer. The formula contains an array of plant-derived milks, including:

• Oat milk
• Fig milk
• Argan milk

Apart from these ingredients, it also contains a special compound called Desert Milk. The brand describes it as follows: “We took plants from the desert and milked them. Kalahari melon, jojoba, aloe vera, and baobab quench skin while sealing in moisture all day long."

Desert milk hydrates, fig milk softens and oat milk provides calming and comforting properties. The fragrance-free moisturizer is also free from all manner of nasties,  like parabens, sulfates, silicone, talc and gluten.
