Conscious Fashion is not a thing of the future anymore, it's happening right now.  Animal Leather is fast becoming obsolete.  After the recent Fur ban in the city of San Francisco, it's becoming clear that cruelty-free clothing is no longer just a 'vegan' issue. More and more individuals, regardless of their dietary choices are calling for clothing and equipment devoid of animal (ab)use.

With inspiring individuals like Stella Mccartney, daughter of the outspoken Vegan musician and Beatles member Paul Mccartney spearheading the way of Cruelty-free clothing, it's a promising sight for fashion enthusiasts and designers to also make the change.

We've already seen a massive shift towards Conscious fashion with plant-based Leather made from fruit waste to Faux Leather brands to individuals even making it at home.

After introducing Vegan Silk to the UK market, Stella and the brand Bolt Threads are now unveiling a bio-material which will replace Leather. Kudos to Bolt Threads for striving by this dedication to create textiles and fabrics that do not involve the use of animals in any sort.
