One of the most complex problems in the present times is climate change, and if there's something that can tackle climate change on a larger scale, then it is carbon tech companies. Not until some time ago did Climeworks construct the world's largest carbon-capturing machine. And in another story, Solein, one of its kind and first in the world, created the first-ever sustainable protein derived from the air.

Carbon technology is fast-growing, and the solutions that one could come up with are limitless. In one such connection, Air Company is all set to revolutionize the carbon tech industry by finding solutions and making products from CO2. The company aims to actively work to remove and repurpose CO2 from the environment. The company says, "Through innovation and disruptive methodology, we created proprietary technology that will serve as a blueprint for carbon tech solutions globally, and our expansion of modular facilities will help us do just that."

Air Company was launched in 2019 by Gregory Constantine and Dr. Stafford Sheehan. The company is presently producing sustainable consumer goods.

THE TECHNOLOGY, ITS IMPACT, AND ITS FUTURE

So what is with all the Air Vodka, and how is it created? The company uses a patented and proprietary technology that mimics the process of photosynthesis. In this process, it takes CO2 and converts it into impurity-free alcohol. This process uses only oxygen and water as byproducts. These alcohols are then used to create a variety of consumer goods.

Through this process and its innovation, the company aims to eliminate 10.8% of global CO2 emissions, 4.6 billion tonnes of carbon dioxide annually. The future of the company seeks to commercialize its technology for an equitable distribution of the systems.

HOW IS IT THE MOST SUSTAINABLE?

Air Eau de Parfum is the world's first-ever perfume made from air. The product comes in three different designs and is inspired by earth's most abundant elements - air, sun, and water. The top of the fragrance has orange peel and fog leaf. The heart has jasmine, violet, azalea, and sweetwater. The CO2 used in this is captured at a source point. The hydrogen is created on-site and fed into Carbon Conversion Reactor, the company's patented machine. The machine then transforms hydrogen and carbon dioxide into impurity-free ethanol, methanol, and water. The perfume uses synthetic ingredients, making it kinder to the environment. They are also collected locally to make them more sustainable.

AirVodka is unlike your usual beverage. It has got the most natural flavor and is the world's highest quality, most sustainable, and the cleanest spirit available. It is also the world's first carbon-negative spirit. The packaging uses 100% biodegradable labels and vegetable ink for printing. The tamper seal is made of cellulose and is 100% compostable.
