India's pioneering soy meat company Vezlay Foods Pvt Ltd receives Golden Award at AAHAR 2023

It was an immensely proud moment for plant-based soy meat products company, Vezlay Foods, at the AAHAR-International Food and Hospitality Fair 2023. They received a Golden Award for ‘Excellence in Display’ at the event, held in New Delhi last month. 

US and African delegates who visited Vezlay Food’s stall were impressed by how closely their plant-based meat products resembled animal meat. A large number of curious, non-vegan visitors were spotted trying the Delhi-based company’s products.

Amit Bajaj, founder of Vezlay Foods, who received the award along with his team at AAHAR 2023, acknowledged that the event provided Vezlay Foods with a platform to reach more consumers. He thanked the India Trade Promotion Organisation for organizing the large-scale event.

Vezlay Foods is among the pioneers in India who introduced soy products with a non-vegetarian texture. Their range of meat-free alternatives include both frozen and non-frozen products — from Soya Chop, Soya Chikka and Soya Lollipop to Soya Seekh Kabab and gluten-free Soya Noodles. 

The vegetarian protein products company was one among 25 other plant-based food companies that displayed their products in PBFIA’s Plant-based Foods Pavillion at AAHAR 2023.
