Mumbai is set to finally host India’s biggest Animal Liberation March on the 28th of May at Bandra.

The last march which took place in 2019 saw hundreds of people take the streets of Mumbai to spread the message of compassion. The march was widely covered across media outlets.

The march is open to anyone who cares about animals and is bringing together activists from organisations all over the city and country with the sole intention of raising the awareness about a vegan lifestyle.

Vegan activists from all over the world regularly organise protests and marches to educate people and highlight the plight of animals being used for food, clothing and in experiments.

“We want the society to understand animals are not ours to be used or exploited and it's possible to be healthy and happy without exploiting animals,” added Amjor Chandran from Animal Liberation Movement India.
