Magnum UK expands its vegan ice creams with new flavour offerings for 2023

For those of you who are contemplating the merits of vegan ice cream from a dietary perspective, you should know that you can have as much vegan ice cream as you like without worrying about any negative side effects. This makes a compelling argument for thinking about being vegan, because according to research, some people develop allergies to the majority of dairy products throughout the course of their lives, including dairy ice cream. Vomiting, diarrhoea, and stomach discomfort are just a few of these symptoms, which can range from moderate to severe. This is why those who are lactose intolerant or allergic to cow milk proteins are recommended to avoid all dairy products, including ice cream.

The new flavor profiles of ice cream on offer

Starchaser and Sunlover, two new Double flavours, are being introduced with with updates to the Vegan and Minis multipack product lines. With popcorn, caramel ice cream, and caramel sauce, Starchaser has a milk chocolate and caramelised corn coating. Sunlover, on the other hand, features a layer of mango and passionfruit sauce underneath the white chocolate and desiccated coconut coating. Stick and tub versions of each will be offered.

The Minis product line with a "luxury" appearance

With the addition of the Mini Double Caramel Collection and Vegan Raspberry Swirl, Magnum is also expanding its Mini and Vegan offerings. Magnum's Mini Double Caramel Collection (rsp: £4.50/six-pack) includes a mix of sticks in the company's classic Gold Caramel Billionaire and brand-new Caramel Almond flavours. Vanilla ice cream and salted caramel sauce make up the Caramel Almond, which is then covered in a chocolate and almond layer.

For 2023, the Minis product line has a new, "luxury" appearance that includes calorie information on the front of the package. The vegan raspberry swirl, on the other hand, is made of "velvety raspberry ice cream with swirls of tangy raspberry sauce," and it costs £3.99 for a three-pack.

A marketing campaign with the tagline "Pleasure is always on" will complement the launch and run from April through the summer. This comes after Unilever reduced the size of its multipacks in 2022 in an effort to contain rising prices. They revealed in July that the 4x110ml Classic and White multipacks' original 110ml sticks had been replaced with 100ml ones.
