Indian mithai is heavy on ghee, mawa and koya, and that leaves vegans with little choice to choose from. Wegun Sweets is all set to change that! The folks have years of experience in making Indian desserts (dairy) and namkeen, and kick-started Wegun Sweets to offer vegan variants of Indian  sweets. The brand is making delectable mithai like barfis, mysorepaks and more with their own homemade vegan ghee, that tastes and feels just like dairy ghee! The mithai had the authentic taste of ghee-laden mithai and we won't be a tad bit surprised if a non-vegan can't tell that he/she tasted vegan sweets that just melt in the mouth.

The sweets are all dairy-free, flavour-free and chemical-free and jaggery is used in place of refined white sugar; Hooray! Less guilt to drown in after indulging in some of their mithai. We especially love their vegan barfis and mysorepaks (a popular South-Indian sweet traditionally made with  ghee) and here's some of their vegan ghee-laden mithai we loved...

The vegan sweets brand was started to cater to vegans and people who are lactose tolerant and we're bowled over by the authentic taste of the mithai! The brand that debuted the market with dairy-free sweets doused in vegan ghee, also makes plant mylks and mylk products (cheese!) so watch this space for more!
