One of the most interesting facets of One Good, has been that the Bengaluru-based company had a goal is to become the next major dairy firm without using any animals. With a mission to produce good cuisine that is also inexpensive and available to everyone, the founder of the enterprise that championed veganism as a sustainable lifestyle is hoping individuals will no longer regard animals as mere food or commodities. Instead, they will be seen as actual, living beings who have the right to live lives free from exploitation and pain. Speaking of how the company was first incepted, Abhay Rangan, the founder recalls, “I founded Goodmylk at the age of 18, and since then, we've helped thousands of people access plant-based food by solving convenience and taste in the Indian plant- based space.

“We recently rebranded to One Good.” It seems the brand is growing now more than ever and has moved to offer people a high quality of artisanal vegan cheese by making an exciting new acquisition.

One Good acquires Angelo

Rangan reveals, “We are very happy to announce that we have purchased Bengaluru-based Angelo Vegan Cheese! We are thrilled to have Angelo Vegan Cheese on board in part because it supports our mission to produce goods that are savoury, useful, and made with all-natural ingredients. In fact, one of the ingredients in the cheeses is our very own peanut curd. Each taste will astound you with how rich and flavorful it is, and the texture will make you question if it's all fake.”

“The company's founder, Adi, is not only a skilled cheese maker but also a vegan who shares our ideals and aspires to popularise vegan goods,” he further explained.

The origin story of Angelo’s vegan cheese and how they grew

Aditya Angelo Fernandes who founded Angelo’s vegan cheese admits that initially, giving up cheese was the most difficult aspect of his transition to veganism roughly four years ago. This prompted him to experiment and go through several rounds of producing vegan cheese before settling on the ideal faux mozzarella. Aditya used to handcraft small batches at home every Monday using only plant- based components. The cheese only matures on Thursdays and was then prepared for pickup on Friday. It is definitely a labour of love and patience. At the time when he started cheese making, particularly unheard of in the nation was vegan mozzarella.

His patrons loved the eco-friendly packaging the vegan cheese came in- a glass jar containing two medium-sized vegan mozzarella balls covered with what looked like a mouthwatering herb and garlic olive oil. All the ingredients (cashew, peanut, tapioca, agar, and Himalayan pink salt) as well as the "made on" and "best before" dates were listed in a note.

Intriguing varieties of vegan cheese they are dishing up

The Truffle Oil Vegan Mozzarella from Angelo's is a delicious, garlicky, and subtly mushroom- flavored dish in which the cheese is marinated in white truffle oil from Perugia. Angelo’s vegan version of mozzarella was creamy, soft, and still tasted good despite not having the customary springy, stringy, and stretchy characteristics. It is also laced with herb oil and it ensures that you don’t miss the usual cheese at all, as it more than makes up for it. Overall, the more vegan cheese you eat, the more you want to eat!

The Vegan Parm is a completely new addition to cheese; it comes in powder form and can be sprinkled on anything while tasting the most authentic. It's safe to say that both of these possibilities have the tasters delight and now people everywhere can try them out thanks to One Good!
