Plant-based answer to McDonald’s? Hyderabad gets a new vegan quick-service restaurant!

Hyderabad’s vegan scene has been growing expeditiously over the last few years. From new plant-based cafes to potlucks and markets, things are just getting bigger and better for the vegan community in the city. The latest addition to this burgeoning landscape is a vegan quick-service restaurant called F.O.FF (Future of Fast Food). 

Started by Krishna Vikas, founder of the popular vegan eatery Weekend Cafe, F.O.FF serves plant-based burgers, wraps, fries, appetisers, milkshakes and softies. One of the biggest highlights is that your order takes just 5-8 minutes to reach your table. 

Their burgers are clearly the crowd favourites and are available in 6 variants – Japanese Katsu, Double Trouble, Punjabi Heat, O.G Veggie, Grilled Chipotle and Crispy Weekender (made with their in-house mock meat patty).

The founder informed us that F.O.FF’s menu will be changed every three months. “We will retain the bestsellers, but keep adding a lot more interesting dishes to the menu. We aim to become the McDonalds for vegans and eventually launch many more QSR outlets across India,” said Krishna Vikas, at the launch.

Besides the delicious food, the place features a colourful and quirky ambience. Guests are welcomed by their cute mascot, burger man, Mr. Foff, who has already become popular among kids.
