Meat Less Meet More, a venture co-founded by vegans Amy Aela and Shreya Ghodawat is hosting a Plant-based Business and Networking Soirée on 28th April at Jolie's, Mumbai.

Meat Less Meet More was launched on 18th November 2023 as India's premier plant-based luxury networking company. It is co-founded by Indian-Australian actress and animal rights advocate, Amy Aela, and sustainability advocate, SHE Changes Climate India Ambassador, Shreya Ghodawat.

The events is set to be an intimate gathering of entrepreneurs, investors, and plant-based industry professionals to share their expertise, network, and provide valuable insights in growing small businesses. 

What to expect at the Plant-based Business and Networking Soirée

Expert Panel

Scheduled first is an Expert Panel which will give attendees priceless insights on the plant-based alternatives industry. It will be presided by AltX Ventures which is a global venture house that partners with climate-tech-focused startups, government entities, corporations, academia, and non-profits across 6 continents.

AltX Ventures was founded by Jinesh Shah who's a serial Alt Protein entrepreneur, advisor, and investor having raised funding from prominent investors like YCombinator, Khosla Ventures, and NBA Athletes. The session will focus on highlighting factors that help plant-based companies and fundraisers scale. It is also beneficial for startups and non-profits to understand the nuances of raising capital and pitching to the right investors.

Networking & Lunch

The Expert Panel will be followed by an informal networking session in the afternoon. Attendees can enjoy a luxurious plant-based lunch by Dining Partner People of Tomorrow. People of Tomorrow is a Delhi-based, mission-aligned restaurant by Ritv Kapoor. It aims to redefine the vegan culinary landscape, offering a platform for plant-based food to transform into a rich experience with compassion and consciousness at its core. 

The lunch spread at the Plant-based Business and Networking Soirée promises a mix of global cuisine infused with creativity and finesse. The informal setting will make room for deeper conversations sprouting from the expert panel and an appreciation for the masterfully created canapés and entrées. 

Startup Pavilion

The Startup Pavilion is a chance for 6 innovative plant-based/ cruelty-free/ animal-free startups to show their products and get real-time reactions. The Pavilion is open to food and fashion companies that use innovative alternatives to animal-derived ingredients. It is also open to sustainability or climate action initiatives that want to showcase breakthrough ideas and need a springboard to launch.

The Plant-based Business and Networking Soirée is being hosted at Experience Partner Jolie's, Mumbai, an exclusive space and hub for entrepreneurs, artists, sportspeople, and industrialists to network amidst world-class amenities. Jolie's is the entrepreneurial debut of Aryaman Birla, son of Kumar Mangalam Birla, who foresaw futuristic events like these needing a conducive environment, especially in the economic capital of India.

How to be a Part of the Event

The Plant-based Business and Networking Soirée is an invite-only event. To get an invite, one has to register here with details of professional experience and purpose for joining the event. The registration form includes a field if you wish to share additional information or present a concern or request. Once your registration is submitted, your application will be vetted and you will receive a formal invite. 

There is no entry fee or application fee. However, the official invite grants you exclusive access to the Expert Panel, the networking and lunch area, and the Startup Pavilion.
