Popular Blogger Nas Daily Is Turning Vegan!

Nuseir Yassin, the wildly popular video blogger who runs the page Nas Daily, announced on Instagram that he is turning vegan!

From a meat-eating Palestinian-Israeli family, he wrote that his relatives would probably get a “heart attack,” on hearing about it, but added that after visiting the Planet Warrior Show in South Korea, he feels it’s time for a radical change in food consumption patterns. He wrote “I’m doing my best to waste less and eat less. So I’m turning vegan.”

I’m turning Vegan?! After visiting South Korea for my Planet Warrior Show with Facebook...I’ve become increasingly interested in food production and consumption. And I think it’s time to make radical change in The Way We Food Everywhere. I don’t know what the changes should be. But on my part, I’m trying my best to waste less and eat less. So I’m turning Vegan. I think it’s healthier for my body first and foremost. And better for the world. My Middle Eastern family will get a heart attack from this news - but I think radical change is necessary every few years. This is just one of many to come. Thank you for being here for the ride. In October this year, he uploaded a video about a unique vegan village in Israel, which has received close to 6 lakh views on Instagram. Around the same time, he also uploaded a video on Facebook about how his friends influenced him to give up meat and opt for vegetarian food, which has clocked 11 million views.

The Nas Daily page has 1.4 million followers on Instagram and 14 million followers on Facebook, so his message is bound to resonate with and inspire his fan base!
