Good Dot’s Revolutionary Vegan Fried Chicken Is Here!

It looks like fried chicken, and it tastes like fried chicken, it even feels like fried chicken… but it’s not.

In fact, it’s way better – it’s Good Dot’s new line of vegan mock meat fast food products. Crispy, flavourful and 100% vegan!

What It Is

Good Dot, an Indian plant-based protein food manufacturer, has launched a new line of vegan mock meat products through their outlets GoodDo that is bound to take the fast food world by storm! From crispy mock meat fingers and burgers (the Good Dot vegan burger is dubbed GURBER, fyi, because it is GOOD for you!) to spicy mock meat tikkas, this range of 100% vegan munchies is healthy, tasty, protein-packed and aggressively priced. Choose from:

  • Keema Gurber
  • The Good Gurber
  • Bhurji Gurber
  • Achari Tikka
  • GoodDo Fried Crispies
  • GoodDo FriedBluez (think of this as GoodDo's answer to vegan fish fingers!)

What Makes It Revolutionary

A certain fast food company (that ends with Fried Chicken) built a global empire on just one product – fried chicken.

But GoodDo is 100% vegan and matches – and even surpasses – their animal product counterparts on three key parameters:

  • Taste: The flakiness, texture, taste and bite will remind you of fried chicken.
  • Nutrition: GoodDo products are derived from plant-based proteins and are high on nutrition, without the health hazards (yes, it’s about time we called it that!) associated with poultry. No antibiotics or any of the other nasty stuff.
  • Affordability: You can’t get a better deal at a global fast-food chain – the pricing is very, very pocket-friendly.

"This is the first time we are giving vegans and the vegan-curious the opportunity to explore amazing vegan products at an affordable rate."

Abhishek Sinha, Co-Founder & CEO, Good Dot India

An Alternative To Boring Aloo Patties

The Indian QSR industry is pretty stale with its non-meat offerings, especially with burgers and sandwiches, lacking in versatility and taste.

Walk into any fast food chain and vegetarians and vegans have to choose between stodgy potato, chickpea or paneer patties between (dare we say) sad looking buns. GoodDo products have been crafted to cater to the Indian palate. Flavour comes first – their aim isn’t to cram things into a patty that can be frozen and fried up when required.

Also, with competitive pricing, the makers hope that vegan burgers and vegan fried chicken can go mainstream and become a natural choice for consumers over meat-and-cheese burgers.

A Few More Reasons To Try It

Everything is made in-house – from the burger fillings to the butter and mayo, and it’s all vegan. And, since it’s made from plant protein, GoodDo is low in fat and has no cholesterol!

So as a consumer, you can satisfy your “junk food” cravings with stuff that’s crispy, tasty, healthy and good for the environment!

Where You Can Find GoodDo

Right now, the brand operates two GoodDo food trucks and one kiosk in Udaipur, with a cafe coming up next month. And in the next three months, they will be expanding with kiosks and food trucks in:

  • Lucknow
  • Gurgaon
  • Bangalore

And they hope to expand to 30 more locations across the country, in malls, campuses, IT parks and more. So keep an eye out – you may find a GoodDo food truck or kiosk in your neighbourhood real soon!
