Vegan First Review: The Brooklyn Creamery’s Chocobars in Two New Flavours

Vegan First’s taste testers tried out The Brooklyn Creamery’s additions to their vegan chocobar range and were left amazed.

 First off, we need to tell you that we’re highly impressed that The Brooklyn Creamery keeps adding to their non-dairy range. This means that anyone who’s looking to avoid dairy, whatever their reason may be, has at least ten options if they open up The Brooklyn Creamery’s menu on their screens! That’s no mean feat.

The Brooklyn Creamery already offers 6 dairy-free ice cream tubs and 2 chocobars. There are now two more additions to the chocobars- the Acai Berry Banana Chocobar and the Chocolate Therapy Chocobar.

Acai Berry + Banana + Chocolate = Winner!

If you’re someone who appreciates fruity flavors, this Acai Berry Banana Chocobar is calling out to you. But before we go there, we must talk about the chocolate coating. That’s the first treat that meets you before you get to try what’s inside, after all.
 
The Brooklyn Creamery has perfected that impeccably thin, subtle and sweet chocolate coating. Sprinkled with cacao nibs, their premium chocolate glaze nicely covers the surprise that’s waiting inside.
 
When you bite into it, you’re going to be greeted with a beautifully restrained hint of banana in a delicious ice cream made with coconut milk and tart acai popping in between. This bar will leave you with a whiff of every ingredient that’s been used in it to keep you coming back for more.
 
Not to forget that the Acai berry is a superfood bursting with anthocyanins that act as antioxidants in the body, and of course, banana is quite rightfully another superfruit with a wealth of nutrients like magnesium, calcium and potassium-packed into that one fruit. Also, one must mention that these chocobars are sweetened using plant-based sweeteners, have no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives and are only 99 calories per serving!

Chocolate, Chocolate and More Chocolate

While preserving the charm of The Brooklyn Creamery’s chocobar, the Chocolate Therapy bar takes the game up a few notches. There’s good reason for them to have named this bar so.
 
Lots of chocolate therapy has gone into this chocobar. A layer of crunchy chocolate and cocoa nibs covers a creamy chocolate ice cream inside with swirls of more chocolate confectionery.
 
Just one bite of the Chocolate Therapy chocobar, and we knew that this was something we wouldn’t be able to put down until it was finished. (Thank the ice cream heavens that this chocobar comes as a four-pack so you know you have three more as backup!) This vegan chocobar is unapologetically loaded with chocolate and we’re yet to find anything that comes close.
 
A perfectly paired combination of many different avatars of chocolate, the Chocolate Therapy chocobar will make you believe you’re tasting a chocolate dream.
 
This bar also contains no added colors, no preservatives, is sweetened with plant-based sweeteners and contains 109 calories per serving. The Brooklyn Creamery has managed to make a really indulgent non-dairy chocobar that hits all the right chocolate boxes!
