Priyanka Chopra Jonas democratizes sustainable beauty with a vegan hair care line called Anomaly

As veganism takes the world by storm, more people are growing conscious about making sustainable choices. Today, you can enjoy vegan food, clothing, footwear and even skincare and make-up products that are cruelty-free. Now, you can rejuvenate your tresses with an all new hair care line that puts an emphasis on vegan formulas. Hair care has never been easier, as actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas has now unveiled her own hair care line and it is a treat for vegans! 

Aptly called Anomaly, it is the brainchild of the actress and her husband Nick Jonas. PeeCee manages her time between Indian and American projects. She took to popular social media platforms such as Instagram and Twitter on Friday to announce the launch along with an image of a Beauty Inc magazine cover.

"This is ANOMALY. What a surreal moment to introduce you to the first brand I have ever created!!! For the last 18 months I have worked alongside my partners at Maesa toward the day when we could share our labour of love with the world, and I can`t believe that time has finally arrived. I`ve tried a lot and learned a lot about haircare over the years...what gave me great hair days, what didn`t, and everything in between...and I have infused that into a collection of products that gives your hair the TLC it deserves. Our formulas are vegan and clean, with high performance ingredients, and our bottles are made from a 100% plastic trash from our oceans and landfills," she penned.

In an attempt to maintain affordability, she appears to have priced the line at an exciting amount. Priyanka wrote, "Oh, and btw, it`s $5.99! We are democratizing sustainable beauty, because access to it should not cost us the Earth and should be available to all. Dropping Jan 31st, exclusively at Target in the US to start, and expanding to markets around the world later in the year. Excited To Know More?

Well, what we know as of now is that the products will be launched on January 31 in the US. However, fret not, for they will begin expanding to markets all around the world later this very year! The 'Barfi' star hopped on to Twitter and shared how it felt to introduce the one-of-a-kind hair products range.

““Our mantra means less equals more. We have stripped away all unnecessary packaging and invested more in our formulas to bring you a sustainable product that is superior to anything else on the aisle,” she expressed.

Sharing that she feels surreal while introducing this brand to her fans, Chopra wrote that the formulas used in the products are vegan and clean, with high-performance ingredients, and the bottles are made from 100 pc plastic trash from our oceans and landfills.
