If you're looking for a sustainable and conscious way to spend your Sunday evening, look no further than the Sustaina-Bash: Thrift Edition. Curated by Greend India, this plant-based vegan marketplace will be held at True Tramm Trunk in Powai on February 26th.  

Sustaina-Bash: Thrift Edition yokes together two movements—veganism and sustainability—the need of the hour with the climate crisis looming large over our planet. The rooftop market will feature a thrifting section, with proceeds going towards NGOs that support and shelter animals, such as the Kalote Animal Trust. That isn’t all, you can also browse through over 15 plant-based food stalls from brands like Break of Dawn, Wess Bakes, 1ness, Soft Spot, Greenest, Good Graze, Boombay, Ambriona Chocolates, Slicc, All Good Taste, Planet 1st, Plan B, Open Secret, Pilk, Babutva, Kamla's Guilt Free Snacks, and Plant Power. 

It is also the right place to be in if you want to make a switch to a planet-friendly and cruelty-free lifestyle. Choose from 6 lifestyle, accessories, and skincare brands - Arotatvika, Arabella, Batti & Co, Disguise, Abhinaya and Yarning for Love while they showcase their full range of products. There will be 3 racks of 200+ pre-loved fashionable garments (in great condition) for you to thrift from.

Hum along with Vikas Dubey’s melodious voice while shopping and then head to try the set vegan menu which includes drool-worthy pairings of vegan Bolognese pasta, vegan pizzas, and entrees with different vegan wines. The Wheel of Fortune is a must - it guarantees a prize which could be anything from discounts at various stalls to a free vegan appetiser! If you RSVP in advance, you can also avail of an additional discount.

This curation by Greend India hopes to bring together like-minded people and businesses that can benefit from their support. Greend India was founded by Sephra Abraham in 2019 to make plant-based living easier with their curated vegan food and lifestyle products. They offer a variety of vegan products ranging from skincare and menstrual hygiene to snacks and mock meat delicacies. Greend’s focus on sustainability can also be seen in their efforts to reduce packaging waste.
