The biggest event yet in Himalayas - The Himalayan Vegan Fest all set to happen in September 2022

The calling is finally here, from the Himalayas. Are you ready? The Himalayan Vegan Festival is all set to happen this September 2022 in Nepal, and we are just as excited as you. 

Have you ever wondered what it is like to be amidst hundreds of vegans who not only share the idea of compassion but come to collaborate and interact with each other to make the vegan community stronger? 

The six-day-long event is open to everyone and will start on the 15th in Nepal and continue until the 20th in Pokhara. It will be attended by vegan activists, delegates, experts, and speakers from across the globe. Here’s all you need to know about the Himalayan Vegan Festival 2022.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPERIENCE?

The Himalayan Vegan Fest aims to bring together people from across the world who want to celebrate, support and spread the idea of a plant-based lifestyle. The event also offers a platform for vegan businesses to reach out to people. The event will have panel discussions, exhibitions, a vegan food court, workshops, movie screens, music and dance, and much more. So make sure you don’t miss out on any.

WHAT DOES THE EVENT AIM TO DO

The vegan community is fast-growing, and there is no doubt about that. The event will be the largest festival yet in the Himalayas and aims to promote and support the community of vegans and welcome interested non-vegans. The event will throw light on the need for a plant-based lifestyle and compassion towards animals.

It inspires people to take up a plant-based lifestyle to end animals' suffering and cut down on the burden it is for the planet and the environment. This will be done through a series of events like interactive workshops, product bazaar, cooking demos; vegan health, fitness, and fashion features; animal education, and much more! Appreciating the grassroots efforts of the local and international vegan communities and activists, the event will be held every once in three years.

WHEN IS THE EVENT HAPPENING?

The Himalayan Vegan Fest will be held for 6 days starting from 15th September 2022. The event will happen in Kathmandu, Nepal, from 15th-17th and in Pokhara, Nepal, from 18th - 20th.

CAN I ATTEND THE EVENT?

The Himalayan Vegan Festival is open and free for the general public to attend. However, if you wish to participate in the event from start to finish, patron passes will let you participate and be a part of all the events without having to attend it on a first-come-first-serve basis as it is for the general public.
