While more and more people around the world are turning to veganism as a sustainable and environment-friendly lifestyle, leading actress Natalie Portman has been way ahead of the curve. The “Thor” actress has been following a vegan and sometimes vegetarian diet for several decades now. And it appears that her handsome co-star Chris Hemsworth wholeheartedly respects her choice.

The truth about Chris’ special kissing scene with Natalie

While speaking of her role in the film as Jane Foster, Natalie who appeared in Thor: Love and Thunder revealed how Hemsworth had been uncommonly kind to her in the course of their shoot. Portman divulged, “The day we had a kiss scene, he (Chris) didn’t eat meat that morning because I’m vegan. And he eats meat like every half hour. Like, that was so thoughtful.”

She went on to explain that it wasn’t her who had requested him to refrain from meat. “That’s not something I’m angry about or care about, but he was just being thoughtful. He’s just a very nice person.”

Insight into Hemsworth’s usual diet

Quite as Natalie affirmed Chris may not really load up on large meals of meat every 30 minutes. However, his trainer Luke Zocchi had reported on Hemsworth's intense training regimen that helped him build the body he needs to flaunt in the movie. Luke shared that Chris does eat 10 meals a day. And these total about 4,500 calories. Yet, these are mainly to maintain the God of Thunder's hulking figure.

Well, we sure hope the God of Thunder considers following suit and choosing a vegan lifestyle just like his lovely co-star!
