PCOS, or Polycystic ovary syndrome is a health issue experienced by one in five women in India. The condition disrupts the menstrual cycle and causes irregular or prolonged periods. It also adversely affects female fertility while increasing testosterone levels in the body.

In October 2020, Unived, one of India’s growing vegan supplement brands launched a new line of vegan supplements especially for women. This range largely focuses on improving female health and managing PCOS-related issues.

The range consists of three products – PCOS Management, PSOC Fertility, and Biotin Gold.

  • PCOS Management is integral in regulating hormonal levels and maintaining a healthy and regular menstrual cycle. The product reduces the effects of imbalanced hormones in the body, including excessive facial hair and acne.
  • PCOS Fertility tackles female infertility caused due to PCOS. It improves reproductive health and has a 65.52% fertility success rate. The product also reduces the effects of PCOS, including regularizing the menstrual cycle, as well as maintaining healthy ovaries.
  • The third product, Biotin Gold, caters to personal care requirements. It is natural formulation that aids in maintaining healthy skin, hair, and nails. It facilitates hair growth by strengthening the hair fibre and reduces skin issues such as acne and wrinkles.

As told to Vegan First, Unived has officially signed sportswoman Rachel Schneider as a Unived Elite Athlete. Schneider is the 2020 USA National USATF 10km Female Champion, as well as a professional runner for Under Armour.

“I’m so excited and honored to team up with Unived heading into 2021 and beyond. This is a company that clearly cares about the quality of their products and the quality of the relationships they form with athletes and their community. I feel confident their amazing line of products will keep me optimally hydrated and fueled before and during workouts, and help speed up recovery immediately after.” Schneider explained.
