They have 3- and 5-day batches, out of which the 3-day batches are more intense, while the 5-day batches have extra activities such as quiet sketching and relaxing sauna sessions. Both batches are equally powerful and rejuvenating, despite any differences in their composition. You will find these essential courses in both programs -

 

1. Gut-Health Nutrition Basics

 

The sessions led by Dr. Achyuthan Eswar, start from the very basics of our anatomy and cover a wide range of nutrition topics. Chef Varun helps visualise the gut as our body’s second brain, how prebiotics and probiotics function, and how to incorporate different essential food groups.  

 

The participants gain the power to incorporate essential nutrients seamlessly as the mentors dispel common nutritional myths and engage in in-depth Q&A sessions so that each topic is understood well.

2. Yoga Mornings

 

At the Nature to Nutrition Retreat, you will be a part of yoga mornings conducted by instructor Eshanye. She has over 5 years of teaching experience and specializes in yoga with breath work, offering relief for conditions like anxiety, hypertension, PCOD, PCOS, and other psychosomatic conditions. 

 

Combining mindful movement with self-awareness gives you an energetic start to the day. Previous participants have felt a profound difference in their lives after learning to start their day with a deliberate pause.

3. Foraging and Forest Hikes

 

Dharamshala is a quaint village in the Dhauladhar mountain range of the Himalayas. It is famous for a wide variety of flora including various medicinal plants, herbs, and over 40 species of wild mushrooms. The mentors at Nature to Nutrition Retreat are well versed in the flora surrounding their homestay, and will guide you tactfully to forage wild herbs and mushrooms which can be sustainably picked to cook dinner! 

 

The quaint village of Dharamkot fosters silence and stillness, allowing you to get deep, meaningful rest after a long day of learning and unlearning.

4. Mindfulness and Nature Baths

 

At 'Nature to Nutrition,' psychotherapy techniques such as morning pages, gratitude journaling, and affirmations are seamlessly integrated into the routine. These methods nurture self-trust and support all other holistic aspects of the retreat.

 

The mentors will help you tune in to the sounds, smells, and sights of the forest. This unique experience is called a nature bath, which helps you reconnect with nature. At the retreat, every meal is an opportunity to practice attentive chewing for optimal nutrient absorption, providing a deeply nourishing experience.
