Through their program ‘Adopt A College Collaborations’, Vegan Outreach has already signed up with three colleges to conduct various activities to educate the students about the benefits of a vegan lifestyle.

REVA University in Bangalore, Auro University and Sanatan Dharma College in Ambala have reached an agreement with Vegan Outreach to start activities at their campuses.

More than 5,000 students will participate in various activities from these colleges and learn about a vegan lifestyle.

REVA University is one of the leading universities in Bangalore, and their NSS unit adopted this program as part of their regular NSS activities. "It is the need of the hour to educate ourselves about the impact we create on the lives of animals and the environment. We are thankful to the Vegan Outreach team for providing us with this opportunity to conduct animal rights awareness activities throughout the year." Says Prof. Madhu B P, NSS Program Coordinator

"Students need to be aware of their lifestyle choices and the impact of their choices on the environment and animals. Conducting events like these will help them make conscious choices", said Dr. Rajinder Singh, Principal of the Sanatan Dharma College Ambala, during one of the webinars organized by Vegan Outreach. Sanatan Dharma College signed a two-year MOU to organize various events to promote a vegan lifestyle.

More and more colleges are interested in conducting such events on their campuses. The "Adopt a College Collaborations'' initiative will provide them with the resources to organize awareness events throughout the year and help students make conscious choices. Events like documentary screenings and guest lectures by vegan athletes, chefs, fitness experts, and celebrities will give them a holistic understanding of vegan living. Vegan Outreach's free 10 Weeks to Vegan email series will help them transition to plant-based eating.

"We interact with hundreds of students regularly during our outreach programs, and most of them want to switch to a plant-based diet when they learn about the shocking reality of animal agriculture and the cruelty involved in the process. Events like documentary screening or sessions with experts will help students retain their new adopted lifestyle, helping both animals and the environment" adds Jaydeepsinh Jhala, Sr. Outreach Coordinator at Vegan Outreach.

With the events organized around the year, students will have the opportunity to interact with experts in various fields and get inspired by their work. It will help the students in transitioning to veganism and stay motivated by spreading awareness among their peers. This will also help build a strong vegan community on their campus.
