Watch Dominion, A Film That Lifts The Lid On Animal Cruelty
Are you tired of sharing animal cruelty facts with your friends and family, trying to convince them to go vegan? Well, here is a solution that’s as easy as it is tough. It’s easy because all you have to do is to bring them for a movie. It’s tough because you have to bring them to a screening of the movie Dominion – a film that exposes the harsh truth about animal abuse.
That’s right. WilderFest is organising dominion screenings in 3 cities across India – Delhi, Hyderabad and Bangalore.
What Is Dominion?
Dominion is a documentary that puts the spotlight on animal abuse across all industries where humans use animals. It is a heart-wrenching film that has made James Aspey cry! It has been produced and shot in Australia – but the dark truth it shows is universal.
What Is WilderFest?
WilderFest is an annual vegan fest based in Bangalore. The first edition was organised in May 2018 at VR, Banaglore and after its success, we have been on a mission to take veganism mainstream across India.
So far, we’ve held talks and workshops in Bangalore and Kochi and are looking to expand our footprint across the country.
Who Should Watch?
Everyone! To be honest, the movie is a difficult watch. It is not easy for even vegans to see the level of cruelty animals are subject to – however, it is a story that needs to be told.
So if you are a vegan, you should come and watch it to get more information and ammo so you can spread the message, speak to non-vegans and share real information.
But the real success of these screenings lies in reaching out to non-vegans. You should bring your friends and family to watch this movie. As we said, it’s pretty graphic, and they might not be able to sit through the entire film.

But we feel that once they get over their initial shock and start empathising with the animals in the movie, they will want to understand and know more.
How To Convince Your Friends To Watch Dominion?
There isn’t a foolproof way of doing this. But here are a few tips that could help you bring the crowd over!
- Tell them it is an exposé on big corporations – which it is.
- Tell them it has big pieces on India – which it does!
- Tell them that even as vegetarians, they are not living a cruelty-free life.
- Tell them this film is unlike anything they’ve seen before
- Tell them it is better than you talking about it! That should settle it once and for all!
Whatever you do, DO NOT tell them that they will go vegan after watching this. That will most definitely put them off!
