Ingredients
400 gms Vezlay Veg Meat
2 tbsp Refined Oil
2 medium sized Garlic Cloves
1 inch-long piece Ginger
250 gms chopped Tomatoes
100 gms onions, thinly sliced
100 gms Red Bell Pepper
100 gms Yellow Bell Pepper
100 gms Green Bell Pepper
1 tablespoon Cashew paste
1 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
1 tsp Coriander Powder
1 pinch Turmeric Powder
1/2 tsp Garam Masala
1/2 tsp Black Pepper powder
1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
1 tbsp Coriander leaves
Method
• Heat the oil in a saucepan.
• Add the cumin seeds and sauté for a few seconds till they are brown.
• Next, add the onions, ginger, garlic and sauté.
• Add the sliced bell peppers.
• Add the tomatoes and sauté.
• Season with salt and black pepper to taste, and then add all the dry masalas.
• Simmer till the tomatoes break down and release their juices.
• Add the Vezlay mockmeat (and a splash of water if needed) and stir.
• Add cashew paste and stir to combine.
• Simmer till the gravy thickens.
• Pull off the heat, plate it up and garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
